1st Business Jets Pilots' Conference
"Jetsetter" initiated and organized the first-ever Israeli business jets pilots' conference, which was held in the IAF's convention center in Hertzlia, on December 15th, 2013.
Tens of the top business jets' pilots attended the conference, which focused on the unique needs and operations of private and charter business jets.
Adv. Gal Peleg, founder and CEO of "Jetsetter", opened the day by introducing the differences in operation of a business jet and the unique requirements from its pilots, in comparison with the airline pilot. He also introduced "Jetsetter", its objectives and services.
Five lecturers presented different subjects to the forum:
Dr. Eran Shenkar, Phd, an Aviation physician from the Fisher Institute of aviation and space, discussed the special effects of high altitude flights and fatigue.
Mr. Libi Bahat, head of aerial infrastructure department at the Israeli Civil Aviation Authority, presented the changes to be done in the international and Israeli air spaces in the coming years.
Adv. Zohar Zik, of HFW law firm in London, presented the special issues of liability in business aviation.
Captain Guy Hertzog discussed flight deck cooperation.
Eng. Eran Duvdevani of "Jetsetter", analyzed a Gulfstream III business jet accidents in Aspen, Colorado, on March 2001, and the lessons learned from the NTSB investigation.
The feed-back from the pilots who took part in the conference were positive and encouraging.
